Mariëlla is an E.C.E. III who has worked in Early Learning and Child Care since 1990 and has been PNCC’s Executive Director since 2019. She serves on the Manitoba Child Care Association’s Ethics Committee, Board of Directors, and Public Policy and Professionalism Committee, and delivers ethics workshops for educators across Manitoba through MCCA.

A Registered Circle of Security Parenting™ and Classroom™ Facilitator, Mariëlla works with New Directions to deliver Circle of Security training to Early Childhood Educators throughout Manitoba. She also serves on several provincial committees and is an ELCC E.C.E. II Assessment Advisor. Her professional interests include inclusive practice, relationship-based care, and reconnecting children with nature.
